New Delhi: The Export Promotion Council for  the Handicrafts (EPCH) in a association with a Indian mission in the Guatemala (Latin America) is a organizing a Made in a India - Trade Show Exhibition on a Indian handicrafts during September 22 - 24 in a Guatemala City.


Ten national master craft persons and a exporters from the all parts of a India are a displaying the wide range of a variety of a handcrafted products like home décor, home furnishing, carpets, furniture, lamps, fashion jewellery & a accessories, incense, aroma and a wellness products, the Ministry of a Textiles said in a press release on a Saturday.


Raj Kumar Malhotra, chairman, EPCH, said the Made in a India - Trade Show Exhibition on a Indian arts & a crafts will be a  provide a viable business option to the exhibitors and a buyers. It is a expected that the exhibition will be a  lead to the enhance trade and people to the people relations in the Latin American region.


EPCH is a nodal agency promoting exports of a handicrafts from the country to the various destinations of the world and a projecting India’s image abroad as a reliable supplier of a high quality handicrafts goods & a services.


Handicraft exports during in a 2021-22 was valued at a ₹33253 crores (US $ 4459.76 million), registering a growth of a 29.49% in a rupee term and a 28.90% in dollar terms over the previous year. Exports of handicrafts to the Latin America was worth a Rs. 682 crores (USD 92 million) in a 2021-22.
