Link Aadhaar to Ration Card through online mode

Step 1: Visit official Aadhaar linking website and click on “Start Now”.

Step 2: Enter your address details including district and state.

Step 3: Select the benefit type as “Ration card” from the options provided therein.

Step 4: Choose the scheme name as “ration card”

Step 5: Enter your ration card number, Aadhaar number, email address and mobile number.

Step 6: After this an OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number which you have entered in the form.

Step 7: Enter the OTP after which a notification will appear informing that your application process is completed.

Step 8: After this the application will be verified and after successful verification of the application, your Aadhar card will be linked to your ration card.

Link Aadhaar to Ration Card through offline mode

Step 1: Carry the photocopies of Aadhaar cards of all family members as well as a photocopy of your ration card.

Step 2: Carry the photocopy of bank passbook if you have not linked your Aadhaar card to your bank account.

Step 3: Also carry a passport sized photograph of the head of the family and all these documents need to be submitted at the ration Office.

Step 4: The notification will be there via SMS or email once all the documents have reached the relevant department.

Step 5: The authorities will process all your documents and the notification will appear once your ration card is successfully linked to the Aadhaar cards.
