World Health Organisation, last month, tagged B.1.617.2 strain as the ‘Delta’ variant of SARS-CoV-2. Now, the “Delta” variant has further mutated to form the ‘Delta plus’ or ‘AY.1’ variant. Well, according to the reports, the initial data suggests that the Delta plus variant shows signs of resistance against the monoclonal antibody cocktail treatment. This treatment for Covid-19 was recently authorised by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO).





Recently, a scientist specialising in genomic sequencing, Bani Jolly said on Twitter, “A small number of sequences of Delta (B.1.617.2) having spike mutation K417N can be found on GISAID. As of today, these sequences have been identified in genomes from 10 countries.”

The year 2021 begins with the good news of the covid vaccine. Covishield and covacin vaccines have been approved. The CoWIN app has been launched by the Union Ministry of Health to make the vaccine reach the people. This app will help in real time monitoring of vaccine delivery. Through the app, the government will be able to keep the data of vaccinated people safe.

Vaccination will be done after registration on this app. However, the app is currently not available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store. According to some reports, the production work of this app has not been completed yet.

What is the CoWIN app?

CoWIN (Covid-19 Vaccine Intelligence Network) is an upgraded version of eVIN (Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network). Once the application is completed, it will be available for free on Play Store and App Store. The Ministry of Health has clarified that corona vaccination will take place in 3 phases. The vaccine will be given to frontline professionals in the first phase, people involved in emergency services in the second phase and people with serious conditions in the third phase.

The registration process on the CoWIN app

Vaccination requires registration on the app. However, the app is not currently available for installation. According to media reports, the registration process will be as followsfollows.

In this regard, Nirmala Sitharaman will address the media about the announcement of the package at 4 pm today.

Nirmala Sitharaman can announce how much will be allocated to which sector. In his address yesterday, PM Modi said the package would help take self-reliant India to new heights in 2020. Land, Labor, Liquidity are the focus of this package.

The war photographers worked with collodion wet-plate photography, a photographic process invented by the Englishman Frederick Scott Archer.Unlike a Daguerreotype, the method produced a negative, which might be replicated. a serious complication with it, however, was that the photographer had only ten minutes from the coating of the plate to the event of the photograph during which to require the image , and one needed a transportable darkroom to use it properly.[4] thanks to the chaotic and dangerous nature of the battlefield, the photographers could only depict such things as strategic sites, camp scenes, preparation for or retreat from action, and, once in a while , the grisly aftermath of battle.
